Durability & Usability

2.4mm thick sapphire crystal – shockproof, scratchproof and anti-reflective inside. The steel edge of the bezel is machined into rugged teeth with a .5mm overhang to ensure easy grip even if you’re wearing thick gloves.

The photo models wrist size is: 6.5” / 16.5 cm.

Compass

With the 2-stage compass, you can reliably establish true north wherever you are. By combining the functions of the bezel and the white/orange disk, you only need to follow the colours to read it. If you were to forget how it works, there’s an instruction etched into the case back, with you at all times.

Legibility

The Poseidon is designed to be highly legible in any light condition. The power-reserve and am-pm indicators are constructed as disks to not be mistaken for markers when giving the watch a quick glance. The important information of both bezel and watch-face is powerfully lumed to glow well into the night.

Manual / Instruction

Winding and Setting the time and date

Hand winding:

  1. Unscrew the crown and turn clockwise to hand wind the movement. The Power Reserve disk will show the amount of energy stored in the movement.

Date:

  1. Pull the crown out One click for date change (Have the hour hand placed between 4’ and 8 while changing the date).
  2. Use the time-setting to fast-forward to the final/current date, then set the time to the correct AM/PM.

Time:

  1. Pull the crown out Two clicks to set the time.

(!) Push and then Screw the crown back in to ensure water resistance.

How to use the compass

  1. Turn the bezel and place the ”II” marker midway between 12′ and Hour Hand – If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere place between Hour Hand and 12′ (Opposite).
  2. Point the hour hand towards the sun.
  3. While in this position, look at what colour the N-arrow at 6’ is pointing at – Orange means the orange ”I” bezel marker is pointing to North. White means the white ”II” bezel marker is pointing to North.

The method is etched onto the case-back, with you at all times.

GMT

  1. Set the bezel to a second time zone. Read the outer scale for hours. The minute hand will show the minutes.
  2. Use the ordinary dial for the local time zone (suggestion).

Diving/Timing

  1. When timing, align the ”II” marker to the current time: Either with the minute hand (to count minutes) or the hour hand (to count hours). Read the elapsed time on the bezel – inner scale shows minutes, outer scale shows hours.
