How The Watch Is Made

For the first time, we can make cases, dials, engravings, surface hardening, coloring, and finishing – without requiring external partners – all made within the walls of our workshop. Beginning in October 2023, each watch is handmade by ourselves and delivered one by one.

The idea to bring all manufacturing to Gothenburg is as old as our company. We’ve continuously invested in tools and competence per each released model to reach that goal. In 2018, the first lines were drawn for a watch made in-town; by us and close-by partners. It took two years to complete. Displayed in the video are the last months of the project, where all ideas became material.
Kontra-Gauss, a demonstration
Our in-house developed technology battles exterior magnetism by redirecting up to 3600 gauss of magnetic current away from the mechanical movement. The Kontra-Gauss system is made from a special alloy that forces magnetism to change direction, effectively shielding the movement. The system and the movement are enclosed inside four layers of stainless steel, acting as additional magnetic adsorbents.
